SAMSUNG INFINITY SCREENING // SALES ENABLEMENT

the ask

Train as many Verizon store reps as possible on the new Samsung Galaxy S10.

the challenge

A lot of sales reps are more familiar with Apple products. Plus, device training can be tedious. With so many annual phone releases, upgrades are considered incremental rather than innovative. We needed to convince reps that the Galaxy S10 wasn’t just another phone release.

the idea

Enter-train them. We hosted Infinity Screening, a “feature” film fest that highlighted new device features as the plot of four popular films. We held marquee events in real theaters across three key markets: New York, Atlanta and Denver.

Partnering with YouTube superstar Bad Lip Reading, we overdubbed four popular films to illustrate new Galaxy S10 features.

Power Scare - A horror movie about running out of battery

Galaxy S10 has a power share feature so you never run out

Edge of Infinity - An action movie about the hunt for a missing bezel

Galaxy S10’s “infinity screen” has an edge-to-edge bezel-less design

Love at First Look - A romance movie about photos so good you fall in love

Galaxy S10 captures photos in ultra fine detail

What a Customer Wants - A comedy about sales techniques for different in-store shoppers

To immerse reps in the experience, we rolled out the red carpet complete with a step-and-repeat, paparazzi, device-themed concessions and special guests from the film.

Master trainers followed up the films with hands-on presentations,
and top performing reps went home with an award.

A scaled-down viewing experience also trained over 2400 reps in-store nationwide.
